Functional and well thought out for the space.  Several of the homes we have looked at on the east coast have second small kitchens in the basement especially those with guest accommodations.  This would be perfect for that or a typically very small NYC apartment.

I love it! BUT I'm not so sure I could function in such a small space. Well, I know I couldn't unless maybe I lived alone. 

I find open shelving attractive, but also very high maintenance. I display all my barware on open shelves and must wash everything (by hand) very often.

I like it but I agree with changing the refridge to a stainless one.

With the exception of that ugly stainless steel fan over the stovetop, this little kitchen is a gem -- especially that fridge!
