I love my Kuhn Rikon 2 Cup Pull & Chop Food Chopper that I saw on a Q presentation years ago.  I price compared and ended up purchasing it elsewhere for less

Decided to purchase another one as a gift, so I went on line pricing again.  I ordered directly from manufacturer's website.  While it's list price was higher than here, after free shipping and no tax, it cost about $2.00 less.

But the biggest gain, was when I opened the package.  They included as a free gift a pair of their locking cutting shears.  I did "David's" happy dance, as I needed another pair of those shears, I don't even care that they were purple.

Good for you !  I'm a QVC. shopper as my order history will attest, however that does not stop me from looking for a better price , and I often find one .  I'm a shoe lover and at least 75%

of the time I find a better price than the Q.  Don't you love a good deal  ??

That's the handiest kitchen tool ever ... and the scissors are great also.

@AlleghenyIf I purchase one from the KR website, do I also get two bowls as QVC was offering?  I'm visual my counter when I'm prespping and I know, I'd like that second bowl.  The website doesn't mentioned that second bowl, but I'm not sure it's not included because I've never ordered directly from them.

I have great kitchen scissors, so they're not a draw for me right now.

Niiice!   Glad you got a great deal, PLUS the shears you wanted anyway.  Surprises are fun.

I've always liked the Kuhn-Rikon brand very much, even before I started seeing the brand on QVC.  Even though a lot of it is made in China now, they have always held up excellent quality.  

I couldn't tell you how many KR products I have in my kitchen but I know it's a LOT!

I, too, love a great deal.  Oftentimes the cost of shipping is a deal breaker for me.
