Last night I made halibut. I put olive oil in the pan & heat it. Then add butter & crushed garlic. Once it is fragrant, add the fish fillets. Cover & cook on both sides til flaky.
Problem is, that no matter how long I run the exhaust fan, my kitchen still smells like fish the next day.
Anyone have any tips? Should I flour the fish first, would that help?
I'd like to start eating fish twice a week. But the lingering smell prevents me from cooking it more often.
