Friends!
You're also right about the argumentative thing. Sometimes I just have to walk away from some of it. I'm a pretty straight-forward person. I've met a lot of nice people here over the years. But sometimes it can seem intolerable. I just come here to enjoy and if there is something where I feel I can contribute I do. But I try to stay out of the fighting stuff. It's just not productive.
Hope you're having a happy day!
Thanks, Chickenbutt. Think we think alike. It worked out good - we each got a friend!
Just scooped up a bunch of ice from driveway - had to have a sander come up to loosen it. At least now I can get to store - have plenty of dogfood, but running low on cookies and people food. So, it's a good day! Hope yours is good also, my friend...

Yay! Thanks for being so understanding. I really am a nice person but I think sometimes I come across as terse - or something like that.
We had ice this morning but it was gone quickly. Not getting much winter here in N. NV this year. I love winter, so I miss it.
I get my dog food from Amazon now, on auto-delivery. I save sooooo much over buying it at PetSmart! My husband used to have to pick it up because I cannot lift 30#. We use Wellness and it was up to $59.99 + tax at PetSmart. I usually get it for anywhere from $34 to $47, out the door, at Amazon. That's monthly so the savings is quite large! Plus nobody has to lug it around. The UPS guys are great and I always put a sign on the door that day so that if it's somebody who doesn't know me he will ring and I ask them to put it in the entryway on a moving blanket I have at the ready. Then, all I have to do is pull it through the house on the moving blanket.
Anyway, hope the rest of your day goes well. Stay safe!

If you miss winter, you can come here - prior to Mon's storm Worcester, MA had 90+" of snow! Got 18"-20" Mon) and, extreme cold, so minimal melting. No place to put it!!! Nat'l Guard coming in to help and other states sending in add'l equipment. I also get dogfood/cookies on Amazon. Jade's got enough of most cookies, but running low on MeatyBones. I do subscribe and save. UPS used to bring the 30# bag into back porch for me, but after I put up fencing off backdoor - her yard - they're not allowed in. She's a PR rescue and don't know what she was trained for, but no one can even hand me anything over the 5' fence. So, UPS now puts all pkgs outside gate, Jade sniffs them, then I have to drag them in. Once got bed from EB and mailman w/n listen, kept trying to hand me this huge box over the fence. Jade stuck her face between the fence and gate opening and bit off corner of box. Mailman listened. Now have new mailman. I really find it difficult dragging in those huge bags of kibble and cases of wetfood though. Jade's a Yellow Lab and when she stands up is about as tall as me (I'm 5'1 1/2"). She was all skin and bones when I got her, but now weighs 95lbs. (Trying to put her on a diet, but she seems to rule the roost.) What kind of dogs do you have?

Maybe you could get a hand truck. We don't have the front of the house fenced off although, if I had my druthers I'd have a 12 foot fence all around with moats. (so sick of solicitors ignoring my 'no trespassing' and 'no soliciting' signs!!)
Our boy is a golden retriever. He's about 4.5 years old now.

He's ADORABLE!!!!! Jade's a young ten; has same coloring, and looks very much like your BEAUTIFUL boy! Eerie - we're kinda a lot alike: EXCEPT you love winter, I'll take spring/early fall! Nice chatting. Have a good one.
