Re: Is anyone hosting a Super Bowl party?

going to my cousins Bar & Grill which he shuts down to have the whole family and friends there to eat , drink and watch .  Everyone brings something , I bring chili which everyone requests ,  and  cornbread.   I could really care less about the game I'm there to socialize lol !   Like the commercials and sometimes the half time show .  Looking forward to the Kyldesdales on the Budweiser commercial this year .

No party, just DH and I watching the game having our traditional 7 layer dip and margaritas.  All homemade.  My job is to squeeze the limes.

I would dearly love being invited to one.  I miss watching it with my dad, a one-time college football star and avid fan.

Re: Is anyone hosting a Super Bowl party?

@sunshine45   ok, four hours and I can be in Baltimore.  Friends there sooooo sad about the ravens game.  I have a pool from work and it makes it fun.  I'll bring some appetizers!  (But your menu sounds perfect as is!).

Have fun.  I'm torn.  I like KC, but would like Purdy to get a ring.  SF defense and KCs offense, should make a great game.

I'm from Steelers country, and I know people are tired of KC going, but we had the same in the 70's and people were sick of the Steelers in it.  Its so much fun when your team is in it!

I always kind of feel bad for the losing team.  We've been on that end too.

Re: Is anyone hosting a Super Bowl party?

I'm not a big fan of football but usually would watch the Super Bowl probably starting with the half time show through the end.

I'm not a big fan of Usher who will be performing at the half time, and I'm honestly so tired of hearing about whether or not Taylor Swift will be able to make the game in time, that I may just skip it this year.

 IF we do watch it, I have some cheese sticks from Costco in the freezer that we really enjoy so I probably would heat up a few of those.

Re: Is anyone hosting a Super Bowl party?

We're having a big birthday party for my mother on Sunday; most family members don't care about sports. That means I'll be recording the game while I'm gone so I can have a crazy midnight party of one while I try to avoid spoilers. I really shouldn't eat so late at night, but I know I'll want to. Not sure what's on the menu yet...  Smiley Wink

@Kachina624

@lynnie61

baltimore is my home town and while my Ravens didnt make it, Im about a 3 hour drive from there and I would pick up Kachina624 & lynnie61 and head to sunshine45's place and we could rock that party.  I'll stop at Jimmy's seafood and bring the crabcake party platter 😆

You all are invited here as well...shrimp Mozambique,  hot wings with sides, and steamed shrimp (with old bay of course)
