@Moonchilde I have both, 6 and 3 qt. I use the small one only for making yogurt. The stainless steel bowl will hold 2 quarts of liquid easily but not much more. It's narrow, so a larger cut of meat (like roast) will not fit, neither will chicken... maybe Cornish hen?
It would be great for making small quantities of soup, and it's wonderful for making 2 quarts of yogurt

There are likely extremely few recipes for 3 qt. pressure cookers. The standard assumption for recipes in pressure cooker cookbooks is 6 quarts. However all one needs to do is halve the recipes!
