I was flipping the channels and David was opening the
ITKWD show and was saying how great it was today because they were doing 5 hrs .............i felt sorry for the lovers of that show.............because we all know the longer shows just mean more TSV time....prob at the least 2 hrs of it!! I relate when i look forward to the fashion hours and a third of the time it is beauty products!!

Let's not forget that poor man will eat his way through the show, too. He's a growing boy.
He used to say how many hours he would have to run on the treadmill. Now, I think the treadmill is probably a clothes hanger.

It's been an unusually rough week-end with computers all day yesterday and that darn air fryer and recliner today. I really dont know how they fill the time talking about a chair. I guess it's not as challenging as My Pillow.

you are to funny🤣🤣🤣! You always have a good quip...
I had tv in den on while baking my "pumpkin disasters" and every time I looked in the room it was the air fryer!

If you are in the market to purchase electronics or an appliance etc, I find the lengthy demos to be very helpful. If you are not in the market, then obviously you would not be interested and probably annoyed resulting in changing the channel.
I like that they take the time to explain HOW something works and HOW to use it!
When I got my IP (elsewhere last Christmas) I found the instruction manual to be totally useless. I had NEVER used a PC in my life. I found all the Q demos to be VERY helpful.
I have been considering an Air Fryer...again, liked watching HOW to use it, what all those buttons are for etc.
Not only are the long presentations designed to SELL as many as they can, but they can be helpful as a teaching tool. By time my item is received, I already had a nice tutorial on how to begin!

@RespectLife. You make a good point, however my objection is that they repeat the infomercial over and over all day until you could just scream. It's instructional for interested buyers, for the rest of us, it's unbearable.
How are you liking your IP?

I am LOVING my IP!
I also grew up being banished from the kitchen when Mom was using the on-burner PC. Dad was convinced she was going to blow up the neighborhood! LOL I just never thought I needed one as I mostly cook only on weekends and have all the time in the world.
My friends on the Potsticker thread convinced me it wasn't just for doing things fast...it was doing things more tender and OH so flavorable! They were right!
I still have a lot to learn...am trying new recipes all the time. I got the 6-1.
I love that it sautes, something my crock pot doesn't. I also love that it IS a slow cooker since my other crock is HUGE. This is the perfect size.
Anything beef stewish is fantastic...but the best thing I made so far?
A cheesecake! WOWZA ! I can't believe it was so good and in that short of time!!
I got an inexpensive small springform pan from Amazon. It is the perfect size for 2 people! I can't eat or give away the giant cheesecakes I was making!

@RespectLife. My mom had the rattling PC too so as soon as I got my own kitchen I got one too. Used it for years with no problems. These new electric PCs are wonderful. I have a Cook's Essentials that I love and picked up an IP during the Prime sale in July. Havent used it yet. I'm a huge fan of pressure cooking. My favorite thing is stewed chicken and big fluffy steamed dumplings. It's so easy to find good recipes with all that are online.

Would you believe I have never made dumplings? Do you have a favorite IP dumpling recipe that has worked for you?
