I would rather leave work and go home to check it myself... With some of my neighbors, I just cannot imagine trusting them to go inside my home. {#emotions_dlg.ohmy}

I would not be able to find one home! I have no family in the area either. My husband or I would have to rush home ourselves---because I would be worried about the dog!

Did you read about the one who "started" a fire in a home? Further reading shows that they left a laptop on the stove. Who does that? They said the dog turned on the oven after they left and oh, my. The story was all over the news. My husband and I both looked at each other and said, "Cover story". Poor pup. I guess it could happen.

Maybe they could put their laptop on a counter.

When I was working - every day my neighbor came over to let the dog out to potty so I imagine she saw a lot over the years. But I paid her $10 a day to do nothing more than open the door to let the dog out and open it again to let her back in.The dog also bought her nice Christmas gifts every year like sweaters or pieces of jewelry.
