If you had to just one set of dishes. . .

I love china, drinking glasses, flatware, linens, etc., and some of you do too!   Today I was thinking if I only could keep one set of dishes, it probably would be Wedgwood Nantucket Basket!

I think the pattern is beautiful and I would never get tired of it.  It has always been my go-to set that is in the hall sideboard, and it has the serving pieces I'd need.

I just love the look and size of it!  Do you have a favorite?  And of course most of you probably aren't into that sort of thing, and I understand it might not be your cup of tea.  Which is ok!

It would be my fiestaware. Sturdy and pretty colors.

@Sooner  I have china that I never use.  But my Fiesta gets used every day and for every occasion.  So that's my "one" set of dishes.

ETA Oops, just remembered my Christmas dishes by Pfaltzgraff  that I use throughout the month of December!

Corelle was our first set of dishes.  I remember how those would shatter when they hit the tile floor in our tiny university housing appartment!  Scary!  Woman Surprised

They do fit well in a compact space.

Fiesta is my one and only set of dishes.  We live very casually now, no more *formal* dining room.

Picked Fiesta for many reasons, made in the USA, no lead, can go in the oven as we don't microwave here, can set a very colorful table.

All my serving pieces, baking dishes, platters and mixing bowls are also Fiesta.

@Sooner, my one set of forever dishes that have been used daily for nearly 30 years are 'restaurant ware'.

Back when I worked for the Sheraton, the restaurant was changing out their china, so the old, much used stuff was headed out to pasture.

I took some, and also gave some to my sister.

It's still perfect. Crazy! That stuff will outlive us both!
