I've been ordering from Upton Tea (online) for some years and not only love their huge variety of loose teas, but the "Tea" publication/catalog that comes with each order.

You will not believe the Oolongs they have! Check them out. Aside from my satisfaction with them quality-wise, I love being able to order a small sample of a tea I'd like to try, without spending many more bucks to purchase much more tea. And, you can order your tea in highly protective "bags" or tins. The tins are hunter green with a label which is personalized with your name or that of someone you may be gifting with their tea.

I just buy pound packages from either Frontier Herbs or StarWest Botanical. Usually from amazon.com

So many good suggestions. Upton is a great source for unique teas. Awesome catalog. Frontier is a great company. Never tried their teas but they offer excellent herbs & spices. I was buying ItoEn when I had a local shop. I believe you can order online but lately I've been purchasing locally. Recently I picked up some of the organic oolong from David's Tea and have been pleasantly surprised. They frequently have promotions and you can try a cup brewed before you buy. Though it's a Canadian brand, they've opened quite a few US stores lately.

Adagio teas are nice also. You can get samples so you can try before you buy. Tevana has nice tea also, they are a bit pricey.
