I just can't make up my mind. I have two grandsons, a new four and ten. They'll eat almost anything because I've always cooked.
I'm leaning toward a scratch cake done with cocoa. The frosting is cooked a few minutes and has cocoa in it and walnuts. It's such a yummy thing. I'll put some strawberries on the side.

Undecided as to what kind, but celebrating sister's 5-0 which occurs on Monday. Dinner will be Easter potluck. Dessert will be birthday cake.

I always get a lemon meringue pie. To me, that is the essence of spring. It's also nice and light after a big meal.
The bonus is, I don't have to make it, we have a good bakery that has them around Easter.

Dessert will be egg kisses (folks in the north call them meringues), vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries.

"what's for dessert?"
Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory restaurant where I am having Easter dinner.
