I don't often buy ice cream, but I bought a pint of Wegman's dark chocolate last week and it's very good. Will have some later.

Ben & Jerry's Phish Food !  It is chocolate ice cream with marshmallow and caramel swirls, and fudge fish. Yum.

My husband and I might be a rarity--neither one of us are big on ice cream.

My parents and my siblings (of which there are 6 younger) all love or loved ice cream.

But to each his own.

There are things I like that others do not.

That is what makes the world work.

For regular ice cream, Breyers natural vanilla.  I LOVE Magnum bars, Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia and Hagen Daz rum raisin.

Not a connoisseur but my faves are Haagen Dazs Vanilla, Pistachio and Butter Pecan, Blue Bunny Salted Caramel, Tillamook Oregon Dark Cherry.

I've got the ingredients to make a couple of batches of my favorite chocolate ice cream for my Creami. Cook's Illustrated had a little hardback book a few years ago with that recipe in it, and it's great. A bit decadent, and lots of steps, but worth the trouble. Not an especially healthy treat, so I only make it a couple of times a year, but it's so good. I'll be mixing that up later this morning.
