ITWKD - Sunday Surprises! (9/30)

[ Edited ]

Two fun tidbits from tonight's ITKWD about the Sunday edition:

•The first item of the show will be the annual Lock&Lock holiday gift sets.

•Cookbook Corner will feature Ina Garten presenting her latest creation.

It definitely sounds like a show to mark in your calendars! Smiley Happy

Thanks @loriqvc! I didn't see the show, and I appreciate your sharing. I give the Lock & Lock gift sets every year, and I'm excited about Ina's newest cookbook coming soon! Smiley Happy

The new 100th Anniversary KA stand mixer might also debut on Sunday; David and Tina mentioned that it was coming soon. It's a beautiful pale blue color and is available for purchase now on the website.

K47521 Lock & Lock set of five bowls or rectangles with gift bags. Hooray for the rectangles! Also a Top Find for today (9/30). Ina's Cookbook is also a Top Find.

Have they ever presented the KA 'Bird of Paradise' mixer yet ?   If they

have I wasn't home to see it.   That's so pretty.

Apparently there is a Kitchen Aid TSV coming up on October 21.  Perhaps it will be shown then.

Several years ago, a young boy listed "cooking with Ina Garten" as his make a wish wish.  She refused.  So I refuse to watch her,buy any piece of junk of book she sells and threw the one cook book in the garbage can.  IMO, she is a genuine LOSER.

Not only is this story more than seven years old, but it was also proven to be untrue:

Re: ITWKD - Sunday Surprises!

According to ABC new Ida did refuse the little boy his wish to cook with her, but later she invited him to cook with her.

The Barefoot Contessa Turn Boy Down Twice

"Now, after multiple blogs and news outlets criticized her decision, Garten is inviting Enzo Pereda to the set of "The Barefoot Contessa."

"Ina became aware of Enzo's story this weekend and will be calling him today," a spokesperson for Garten said in a statement to ABCNews.com. "She looks forward to inviting him to spend some time with her at the Food Network studios."

I sent this message from the last living brain cell I have.
