What's the difference in the Instant Pot and the Power Pressure CookerXL?  Amazon is $99.00 now on the IP.

@Txblond The IP has so many functions and works. The company is American and backs their product. Based on the control panels, you will have more control over the IP and the functions are different. I love making yogurt in mine, plus it is an American company.

@Txblond I can't speak to the other PC but I can for the IP and I just love it.  I previously had a CE model and had mixed results but I have not had a bad meal out of the IP.  I love the SS insert and it is super easy to clean.  I have an older model which doesn't have some of the newer functions that are now offered but they have a very solid, quality product and I couldn't recommend them more . . . @Txblond @momtochloe is right about the stainless steel pot. You don't have to worry about scratching it or any negatives about non-stick.

Thanks gals for the info and opinions!  I will keep an eye out for the Instant Pot to go on sale again.

Now I am confused about which Instant Pot is the latest model - WM has the 6 in 1 (Lux 60) for $89.00, but doesn't have the Yogurt button.  So what model should I be looking for?

@Txblond The 7 n 1 has the yogurt function.  My sister and many others have the 6 n 1.  If you aren't going to be making yogurt, then the 6 n 1 is fine.  I make yogurt and the IP makes really great yogurt!!  Walmart has a great price and return policy!

@Tigriss

Thanks I wouldn't make Yogurt, but my daughter might - decisions, decisions!  LOL.

Get the IP!  Love mine. I  hardly ever use my range anymore other than the oven.  I made ham and beans (from the frozen Christmas leftover ham bone) in mine today.  It was wonderful.

Be sure and join the Instant Community on Facebook.  You will learn a lot.  Everyone there is really nice too.
