I was reading one of David Venable's recipes and I have a question

It's the White Chocolate rice pudding with cherries recipe.

I can't find where I can ask David 'directly'.

It calls for Arborio rice...what can I use if I can't find this rice? Anywhere around here it's just the plain-ol' rice...it's hard to find anything 'special'.

Also, would I use the same amount?
