I'm still trying to talk myself down from getting a Kuhn Rikon pull and chop after so many folks here in the forum said it was there favorite gadget recently.
Now, the TSV GreenPan multi-cooker looks swell, but another big appliance hanging around
Ah...no thank you.
In the meantime...my toaster oven, frying/saute pan, small saucepot, and 30+ year old Le Creuset dutch oven are doing the job.
@nwbabs @The good thing about the pull and chop is that it is small. Also it is inexpensive and above all useful.

@GinaV24- I ordered a set of 6 Ginzu steak knives from QVC on clearance. We love them. They are serrated but do slice the meat without tearing it and are very sharp. Tik Tok is a no no for me.

I had for my Vitamix.....
@MalibuFox Luckily, I haven't fallen for that one yet. Part of my problem is, I'm such a picky eater, and I'm not one to experiment trying to come up with a recipe. And then, you have to gather all the ingredients and prep them before using them.
I have a Wolfgang Puck blender, and we recently we got a nugget ice machine (not on the Q). Should be great for smoothies, right? Finally picked up a fresh fruit smoothie mix and made a smoothie in it. Meh. It tasted good, but not so great that I want to make smoothies on a daily basis. I don't like protein powders, so that route is out. I see some of the frozen smoothie mixes don't require ice.
I'll probably use that nugget ice more in the summer when I'm out working in the yard. But, DH loves it. He uses that As Seen on TV Magic Bullet for his smoothies though, LOL. He commented that my WP blender was loud, which it is. I have his food processor and was surprised at how quiet it is.
And then I'll also need that special jar for grinding my own flour, right?
Nugget ice machine!?! If you only knew how seriiously, for real, jealous i am. So much so ...Im embarrassed!
I would love to make slushies in my Ninja blender using sugsr free flavoring or diet sodas. Cant buy those. I just dont have an icemaker in my fridge ( didnt connect it because its an old house with hard water that tastes terrible.).
I have to buy bagged ice, its not practical to use for slushies as much as id want to because it would use so much ice. I will do this in summer when i just gotta have one. If i had a nugget mschine, i could stockpile! HUG it fir me 🤣

What happens when you try to make cashew butter with a Vitamix that makes you want to return the machine?

@MalibuFox We love ours! We make smoothies, mix for ice cream, soups (especially gazpacho in the summer!), salad dressings and lots of things in ours. It is something we'd replace quickly if it broke.

I love, love, LOVE my pull-n-chop!
I don't buy a lot of gadgets, but if this one broke I'd order another one immediately. The other gadget I can't live without is my immersion blender.

The Vitamix was not a purchase for me. I have a blender that I rarely use and it's taking up space. I did, however, purchase an ice cream machine some years back that I probably used 2 or 3 times when it was purchased and, it too, keeps the blender company on the 'never use' shelf.
I think for me, it's the small kitchen gadgets that 'draw' me in, like the pineapple core thing. Probably used it once or twice but found it so hard to screw into the pineapple but harder to pull the fully cored pineapple out.
