Thank you for reminding me to sharpen my knives. I was trying to slice a tomato the other day, grabbed one that wouldn't cut the skin, grabbed another, same thing. Third knife did the job but it's time to sharpen them all.
The first three are non-serrated tomato knives, they hold a good edge but still need upkeep.
I wonder how the Geoffrey Zakarian slicer would work. I have one, am hesitant to try, especially if the tomatoe isn't super firm.
