I've never cared for tuna casserole. Last time I made it I was pregnant and something about it turned my stomach.
That was 30 years ago. I'm going to try it again.
Has anyone tried it?

I've never been a tuna noodle casserole lover either. The only way my family ate tuna was in a tuna fish sandwich. I think my husband's mother fixed tuna casserole quite a bit when he was growing up. This casserole does look very good. I think I will be trying, too.
Hope we all like it!

Same here. Hubby has such good memories of it. I don't. We'll either make new memories or I'll know for sure it's not for me.
I hope you enjoy it.

I made this for DH and he loved it! This is a guy who used to make Tuna Helper 2 or 3 nights a week as a bachelor. I'm not a fan of mushrooms, so MBR's recipe isn't at the top of my list, but DH really liked it.

Very similar to my recipe. It's good for what it is. A quick dinner when you really don't care what you're having.

I have hated tuna casserole since I was in college. One of my roommates made it every night for a week. Plus tuna salad for lunch. It was her week to cook. I've never been able to tolerate either since. She also made potato salad with instant mashed potatoes. She froze the reconstituted potatoes in ice cube tray to get the correct shape. Of course it was inedible frozen and disgusting thawed. We still laugh about that. She is a school principle and an excellent cook.

Love tuna casserole! (or hot dish, as it's called here). Everyone has their own version, or versions. I've made it like MBR's, but my family's favorite used cream of celery soup, onions, celery and green olives in it, along with the tuna and noodles. It's one of those things that's very "forgiving", and can accommodate a variety of ingredients.
