I think Debbie made the right choice for her, since she felt uneasy about cooking the chicken. I totally rely on my gut feelings.

I am making a rib roast today and ironically most recipes call for you to leave it at room temp for several hours before cooking!! Still, I do feel I did the right thing. A few dollars wasn't worth the worry. Like someone said, I don't even like handling chicken and have to clean my kitchen thoroughly with bleach after preparing it. I cannot imagine driving 2 hours with groceries!! Then again, I live in NYC so never experienced that, I guess there are those that have no choice,
