I need some advice on cookware from the QVC shoppers.

I need some new cookware. I have been looking at all that QVC offers and I know the 1810 stainless is the best to buy. My problem is the coating. There is Hard Anodized, Porcelain non-stick, High performance, Hard Emamel, etc. Farberware has a 2pk. skillet set that is hard enamel for $22.00. Do I buy cheap and throw away when it is scratched or do I buy the best and hope it doesn't scratch. I really need your input on the kind you have used. Thank you to everyone who can give me some advice.
