I need help with spiral ham, please

I have an 8-9 lb. Kansas City cooked spiral ham. In the past I had Smithfield but thought I'd try this other brand. The heating directions are polar opposite! Smithfield says 325 degrees, covered tightly. KC says 350, uncovered. My experience has been that it's easy to dry out a cooked ham in the oven. Plus my last ham (Smithfield) turned out well under their directions. Since this KC ham is essentially the same as the Smithfield, should I just ignore their directions and heat at 325, covered? And yes, I am kicking myself for not ordering the Smithfield !
