I'm looking for a cookware recommendation

I'm confused about all the different types of cookware.....hard anodized, hard coat, stainless steel, etc. Too many choices. I'm looking for a nice set that will last for a long time and still look good, be non-stick, does not scratch or peel and not be hundreds of dollars. Oh, and it doesn't have to be sold at QVC. Thank you!
