... about Temptations. I'm glad I never bought any! Can anyone recommend an equivalent line that's oven-to-table, reasonably priced and attractive but that will last years?

Rachel Ray has an oven-to-table line, but I've never purchased. you might check with people who have purchased her items.

Thanks, hoosieroriginal. I've seen some dishes of hers that have an interesting shape, where they're quite shallow in the middle, with the ends being higher, and I wonder if food ever spills out over the sides!

I have some of those. Once and a while, food does spill over. Not much, but I put a cookie sheet under them if I'm unsure if I filled it too high. The ones I have are for one serving.

I have been tempted to buy the rachel ray dishes because of the pretty colors and handles but I agree, they are such an odd shape with the sides dipping down to be shallow in the middle. Even when I see her using them on her own cooking shows, stuff is always dripping down the sides. It seems like it is one of those design ideas that looks cool to the eye but is not practically useful.

That's what I'm thinking. They're very attractive, just not sure on the practicality.
