I got an air fryer

[ Edited ]

got it  for free from my neighborhood Buy Nothing network I am a part of.

I have never used one...

what is your favorite air fry food that does not involve breaded frozen junky packaged  type foods?

I do plan to try brussel sprouts and potatoes.... maybe green beans...

@SeaMaiden I don't have one but have considered getting one for a long time....I just don't really have room for more stuff.

What is the "Buy Nothing" network?  I've never heard of it.

Grilled cheese sandwiches

My absolute favorite air fryer recipe is Meredith Laurence's recipe for warm potato salad with green beans.  Her cookbook is excellent for a novice air fryer user.

Hard-boiled eggs

I have a small air fryer and I cook six eggs at 270 degrees for 16 minutes. Then place directly in the fridge.

They peel easily and are cooked perfectly.

We didn't find anything the oven doesn't do better, easier and with less cleanup. But that's just what we eat.

We aren't big on breaded and battered and frozen entrees either so that's just for us.  I know lots of folks love air fryers but it wasn't for us.
