I feel bad that I cannot remember her user name but for me

that is not unusal anymore, but where is the person that contributed a lot to the kitchen forums especially when it came to LE Cruset items. I really enjoyed her knowledge on many discussions. I miss her on the forums.

I didn't do it!  Smiley Wink    Probably not me, as I was only gone for a few months and have been posting again lately.  Smiley Happy

Hey, chickenbutt, I must have missed your posts as I don't get on here that often. Glad you are back and all is okay.

Aw, that's very kind.  Thank You!

I had some trials and tribulations including having broken my left arm really badly.  Both the forearm bones broke - the smaller one just had a hairline all the way across, but the larger bone was broken in half and displaced.    No fun, for sure, and it didn't help that I'm left-handed.

Anyhoo, been 3 months now with that and I'm well on my way.  Smiley Happy

OMG chickenbutt I am so sorry to hear that, I hope you are doing better. I hate to hear how someone has been hurt and it totally messes up their daily living, trust me I know from many injuries myself. God bless...

@OUCH OUCH OUCH!  Why didn't you call me to come lift those heavy pots for you?

I am glad you are better!

Re: I feel bad that I cannot remember her user name but for me

Thanks so much for the well-wishes.  It is very much appreciated.

Hey Sooner!  Yeah, well, no large pot lifting for this chicken probably for a very long time.   I skated out of cooking for Thanksgiving (I just had a bowl of brown rice I had made a batch of a couple of days earlier) and christmas coming up, because there is still no way I can lift things.   I"m just glad I've gotten to the point that I can type (not too well yet) and I can do some writing with my left hand now.   I was never going to get good at being right-handed!

Re: I feel bad that I cannot remember her user name but for me

First I cant believe I forgot the user name, Chickenbutt. I am losing it. But I am right-handed and am having a problem using my left. I certainly dont have the serious problems you have had but I have developed something called trigger finger on my right hand. It is quite painful and so I have to try to use my left hand. Not working well. So in a small way I sympatize with you and your serious problems. Take care and heal quickly.

Oh nooo!  Smiley Sad   I'm sorry to hear that.   I can also relate.  I have 'trigger finger' on my right thumb.   Having my left hand disabled for a while I had to do everything with the right hand, so the thumb got even worse.   I can't even do anything - pick up something, open a door, etc, with that thumb involved.

The good thing was that, while I was under the care of the ortho doc, I got a 'thumb brace' that makes about 95% difference for the trigger thumb situation.   He said there is an operation that can fix that.  If you have medical care, maybe that's an option.   I don't, but was forced into it for 3 months due to breaking my arm (spent a few thousand there.  ouch!).

Maybe there is some kind of brace that would help?   I sure hope so because I know how you feel and it hurts day and night.  The clicking!  You want to just keep clicking the stupid thing.

Take care and feel better really soon!!  Heart
