I baked the smaller version DH Butter Golden Cake Mix to make a pineapple cake.

I made it as directed, and baked the batter in 9 in Wilton Layer Pans. It turned out well, but not as high as it use to be. It use to go to the top of the pan. I made a pineapple frosting to put on it. I made 2 of these cakes for a lady who worked on the janitorial staff at my high school. I thought she'd enjoy them as a Thanksgiving gift to her. Pineapple Frosting

In a saucepan put 3 T flour, mix with 1/2 c sugar, then add a 20 oz can of crushed pineapple and 2 T butter. Cook unitl bubbly and thick. Put between the layers, top and sides. It makes a great pineapple cake.
