I think I have only had smoked bacon, ham, and ribs.  (DH did this with me at work, no discussion!!!).

Smoked flank steak was tasteless for me and  (even with catsup).  I love beef and can eat a med. rare steak and roast at any time.

It was a nope.

Dinner was a salad and a spoonful of scalloped potatoes.  I think the white zin saved me!!!

@ECBG    If he didn't marinate it, I bet it was tough as a boot heel too.

@ECBG  I think flank steak is too lean to smoke. Maybe you could marinate it, but I don't think it is a good candidate for smoking.

@PA Mom-mom No, it wasn't one to smoke.  I don't eat what I dislike.  I don't waste my calories.  Major ick for this!

@ECBG Give him a break!  Maybe he didn't have the sometimes 14 hours it takes to smoke a brisket!  Ya gotta cook 'er till it gives up!
