I just found a recipe in Southern Living magazine for a Layered Peppermint cheesecake - 3 layers white cake and 2 layers peppermint cheesecake. I'm thinking about making this Christmas eve morning and not serving until Christmas evening. If I put it on a cake plate how would I cover the cake part and keep it fresh without all the icing getting messed up. I was hoping L&L would have a container but the one I found doesn't look like it would be tall enough.
