Drop a denture tablet in a themos filled almost to the top with hot water .

I swear by Dawn dish detergent---blue formula/original.  Put a few drops in with hot water and let it sit. I use the Campenelli sponges to wipe it out and rinse. If there are stubborn stains then just repeat using a bit more Dawn. Works for me.

I throw in cascade or a dishwashing pod. Works perrfectly

DH uses Brew Rite the same stuff he uses to clean his coffee maker with.
