We don't eat out that often. A lot has to do with very small portion sizes and increase in cost. When we do eat out, it's usually pizza at our favorite llocal spot ( I like pizza A LOT), a local Mexican place, and Chipolte (daughter loves Chipoltle). I do like breakfsat and brunch but I can make that stuff at home. I like eating/ordering things that I don't/can't make. Sometimes I crave a McDonalds cheeseburger or nuggets, but that's not very often. We live in an area where there is no lack of restaurants, but most of them we don't find very good.

What @TheMemphisVette said. We sometimes order pizza from Pizza Hut but that is maybe 3 to 4 times a year. We like their pizza and special offers. Other than that, we go out for my birthday, maybe our anniversary depending on what's going on, and when we travel once a year (gone 2-3 days), we usually eat out once or twice a day. Other than getting roped into eating out with some of our family and church friends, we just don't.

I don't eat inside restaurants anymore...I use the drive thru at Culvers when they have their limited time specials & I buy rotisserie chickens at my favorite family owned deli.

I eat out very rarely, for a few reasons. I'm single, and don't like eating alone. Most restaurant food is low quality, not great nutritionally, and extremely overpriced. I feel like I eat healthier and lower calorie when I make my own meals. Maybe once a month I will go somewhere with friends.

We don't eat out often.. it has to be a special birthday, anniversary, or while on vacation or meeting up with friends.
My husband is picky and doesn't like restaurant food.
When we do eat out, it usually seafood....crabs, lobster, shrimp, scallops, fresh fish or sushi.
I am gluten-free so restaurant food can be tricky. We never eat fast food. I occasionally will get a diet lemon aid for myself and a peach milkshake for him at chick-fil-a.
I cook almost everything from scratch from soups to desserts. We also don't bother with most processed foods.
Our food bills are huge. We buy the best we can afford. I can and freeze foods in season. We own two deep freezers and two refrigerators at home and two fridges and one freezer at our summer place.
We're both healthy and take no drugs. We attribute our health to good nutrition and excerise...of which I need more of. I need to get off the seat more often.

We used to eat out a LOT more than we do now. Hard to say what we do now, but it is less than once a week. But we often travel for work and that means eating out. But at home, not that often. I would say the prices are the reason we cut back. It is an unnecessary extra expense, and not always a great dining experience.

I rarely eat out because I like knowing EXACTLY what is in my food! 😁 I am also a germophobe, and do not necessarily trust the cleanliness of the kitchens.🥰 I eat out occasionally, but have high standards of the chosen restaurants.😊

It is rare we eat out anymore because of our lifestyle change. We are extremely particular and most times we would probably drive the wait staff crazy when we place an order.
DH is mainly keto - ketovore (depending on what he eats on any given day) and I'm carnivore.
Restaurants also charge for food you don't want. If you want just the steak or plain burger, you are still charged for a full meal even if you don't want the sides.
Restaurants also use seed oils in everything...even when they grill a steak they squirt that stuff on it! We don't ingest seed oils anymore at all. We now have to tell the wait staff to not use/squirt seed oil on our meat/seafood.

Not as often as we used to.
I took my visiting nephew to CPK for lunch and an appetizer of egg rolls was $14! To make matters worse, they were .... only "okay".
At least they validated my parking.
I know servers work hard on their jobs, but it's sometimes difficult to not feel taken advantage.
