How many ounces are in a box of pasta? Did the companies shrink them?

I bought a box of Barilla tri-color rotini the other day and it's 12 oz. I always thought pasta boxes were 16 oz (1 lb.). Sometimes I don't pay attention when I'm shopping, so it could be me, but I was curious if they shrunk the box and if more pasta companies are doing this. I'll have to pay closer attention next time I'm at the store.
