i prefer frozen green beans. my favorites are the haricots verts.....the ones that are quite thin. i microwave them with a little salt and butter for about 5 minutes.

Stir fry .. barely. I hate overcooked veggies. Rarely cook 'em more than 2 minutes.

I want my beans to be a little crisp. They're great sautéd with a bit of olive oil and whatever spices you like.

I cut off the ends and strings, blanch for a couple minutes, submerge in ice, drain well in colander, add seasoned broken pecans (prepared ahead (baked in oven) with cinnamon, sugar and cayenne pepper), add some butter, a little steak seasoning and sea salt. Voila. Great beans in just a few.
