To store my recipes for the past few years, I've been using this book I got from Amazon. I like it a lot, but I'm now thinking I might be better served with an index card file.
I use Pinterest for recipe ideas and I have many on my laptop, but I want something tangible that my kids can keep when I'm "no longer cooking", so to speak.
If you don't mind sharing how you store your tried and true recipes, I'd love some ideas.
Thank you.

I use loose leaf notebooks with protector sheets, and Circa notebooks that I can custom punch from Levenger. Also we have many more recent ones on the computer, either in PDF files or text files.

In a binder with clear plastic sleeves. Pages are easy to remove for use and clean off spills.

I prefer a notebook like the one you posted instead of an index card file.
As far as something for your kids to have, one thing you might want to include is menues for occasions or grocery lists for them. My mom would make lists for holiday meals and I wish I had some of them as it showed her thought process and handwriting.

Many, many, years ago a friend gave me a book with blank pages for recipes. Well that book is falling apart because it is well used and contains the good recipes, you know , the ones that are made over and over. I could buy a new one, but I just can't part with old faithful.

My original file is the 3 ring notebook I made as a project in HS with all of my favorite recipes from family.
Of course I added to it during the years. Now the cover won't close, lol!
Now, when I use a recipe, I type it on Word and put it in my computer recipe file. If I need a copy, I print it.

I mostly use Pinterest but for those that I've had since before Pinterest, I use the old Recipe Box/Index Card Method.

I was just thinking that the binder method with protective sheets might be best for me.
I do like the personal touch of handwritten cards, but I could type out the recipes and add handwritten notes.
