Heres one example:  Anderson Seafoods 3 lbs of Wild Patagonian shrimp selling for $90.72 ( breaks down to $30.24/lb).   Trader Joes sells the same wild caught Argentenian shrimp in a 1 lb bag for $9.99.  Thats a savings of 66 percent !!  I realize Trader Joes being a huge supermarket has better economies of scale than QVC does but still a 66 percent mark up is insane.

Some people can't reasonably shop around.  The nearest Trader Joe's is over a four hour, 300+ one way drive, from my location.  Not much of a bargain when reality is factored in.

BTW, Trader Joe's has 500 stores throughout the U.S. so a lot of people are in a similar distance situation.
