I made a really big pepper steak. I am ok with the same thing 3 times, DH is over that dish after two nights. If I haven't had that dish in forever, I'm OK.
I had that pepper steak and he grilled a small pork loin, which I can pass on.

I am SO bad with leftovers! I can bring them home or make them and forget all about them in the fridge. Thank goodness my dogs do not care if the food is a few days (or even weeks!) old--it is still tasty people food to them.

It really depends on how much is leftover. If it's just a little , it will end up as lunch the next day. If it is a sizable amount , I will freeze it for a dinner when I don't want to cook.

I don't mind leftovers. I will have them for lunch or dinner till they are gone. I don't like to freeze leftovers except for soup.

As often as I like!
It's just me usually. When the paramour is over, sometimes I tell him he does not have to cook. I reheat the left overs. He never knows the difference. He thinks I "cooked" just for him! ![]()
I freeze leftovers or store them in the fridge in my vacuumed sealed glass bowls. I never eat leftovers every day. I stretch them out every other day or two. Some for lunch, snacks or dinner.
Thanks for this post as I have 2-3 weeks old left over baby back BBQ ribs (1/2 rack) in the freezer. I took them out the freezer to have for Sunday dinner w/pre-made Greek salad which I picked up from Wagmans this morning.

Maybe once a week. What leftovers we have are usually eaten for lunch the next day,

Most of my casserole type recipes make 4 servings, so I cook once and we eat twice but not always two days in a row. Sometimes I'll make something else on Day 2 and then do the leftovers on Day 3. My lasagna recipe makes 8 servings. I'll take 4 of them and freeze for a later date. Even when I make a single protein like a steak or chicken breast, I'll cook enough for two meals each. Usually the first time it's as a hot entree. The second time is in a dinner size tossed salad. Burgers, hotdogs, sausages, wraps are usually a single meal.

We had leftover slow smoked ribs for lunch yesterday from the day before. I could eat them every day.
Leftovers are normally not leftovers but repurposed. Example, jar of Marinara sauce would show up as meatballs and spaghetti one day, lasagna a day or so later, and the rest on a pizza or in soup.
Meats and veggies might go in a rice, grain or cold pasta salad, stir fry or a soup. Leftover greens? In a soup, omelettes or fritatta, a lasagna or maybe frozen for later.

We usually have one day a week where we eat leftovers or just eat what's in the fridge.

I love when I make a lot of something, and we can eat it for 2 more days. It's nice not to have to worry about dinner.
