During the week, I stay on the second level of WW (from the time I was losing baby weight which does give me a piece of bread and some fat), and normally for dinner I'll have a large salad and protein or large servings of two or three vegies in low carbs with protein. All vegetables have a small amount of carb in them.
Occasionally, I'll have dessert on the weekend or maybe a potato.
If we go out and the bread is homemade, Ill eat some as well as order what I want.
How about you?

Wow - good for you, but I have to say it sounds awful boring !

Like you I will eat only great home made breads and pasta - so maybe once or twice/month when out in a great restaurant. Same goes for dessert. Otherwise I will have a sering or 2 a day but only whole grains. I love quinoa, brown rice, an ocassional potato, whole grain bread. I try to keep these for breakfast and lunch. Only protein and veggies for dinner 90% of the time.
I lost over 30 lbs eating this way over 5 years ago and no problem keeping it off. I eat a lot and like a lot of flavor in my food. Easy to give up the white starches and nothing about them seems exciting to me any longer.

I eat all the fruits and veggies I want...for dinner 10% of my dinner is fat (plant fat/good fat)...I am not a weight watcher....I love how I eat! Each to his own!

Carbs are my downfall.....I would pass up a piece of pie for a baked potato....

I feel happiest and healthiest when my answer is "none". And I don't miss it, either!

I just recently stopped eating all the 'white' stuff - flour, sugar, etc. Limiting my 'starch' to about one cup a day - steel cut oats, quinoa or brown rice or brown rice products only.
I'm finally beginning to lose a few pounds - filling in the rest with high quality protein, veggies and up to three fruit servings. It's sort of a modified Paleo.
And I must admit I am feeling better, but sometimes, boy what i wouldn't give for a nice chewy bagel! I have a feeling, though, that I would feel not so well for the rest of the day.

@Sammijo10 a couple of decades ago I lost a lot of weight and kept it off with a diet called Sugarbusters which sounds very much like what you are on. I eliminated anything "white" from my diet and replaced it with whole grain toast in the morning and a sweet potato at night. I was very pleased with the results as I found it very easy to follow. I hope you have good luck and are pleased with your results too!
