I don't eat alot of corn----too many carbs for me---but when I do , I put butter and truffle salt on it---would eat street corn in a NY minute however--also cook mine in my Instant Pot---AMAZING !!!!

I agree about the carbs, but fresh corn is such a treat just for a limited time that I will indulge in a couple of ears a week, picked and eaten the same day. And yes, I buy just one ear at a time. Will not eat day old corn because I don't have to. It is grown all around the area where I live.

 

I think this year I will try to freeze two dozen ears for over the winter enjoyment and see how I like it. DS will take it if I don't want it- he could eat 3-4 ears every day, and used to when he was younger. (and I was buying, LOL)
