I'm watching Martha Stewart right now. She's selling peaches:  $30.00 for 2 pounds & $50.00 for 4 pounds!!!

What is a cup of coffee worth?  A handbag?  An ice cream cone?  What it is worth is what someone will pay for it.  

Harry and David pears?  A cake?  Lobster?  Iced Tea?  REALLY?  Basically water?

The list goes on and on.

At this point in my life, no. But years ago I used to buy some of the fruit from Harry and David.

Think I'll pass, go to my local Wegman's and have my choice. I know what I'm getting and for a lot less $$.

I just turned the show on. Martha needs to clobber Rick with that wine bottle. I rarely see him since he is on so late. Goodness he certainly is hyper!

I cannot imagine that I would pay that much for peaches, but I really have not had a delicious peach in a long time.  The ones that I have found for too many years always taste mushy.  I do see that The Peach Truck sells them for $48 a dozen with $5 shipping, along with a jar of their peach jam, so they are also quite pricy.

Now - white peaches are in season.  They cost more than "regular" peaches ... but nowhere near $15 a pound. 

At the moment they are just over $2.00 each at local supermarket.

I think I would pay $2-$3 for one but I would not be buying a whole box.

I think we paid over $30 per box of peaches last year for Colorado peaches.

I'm pretty sure it weighs more than 2 lbs. It fills up one crisper drawer & I put the rest in a large bowl.

YUM!!! Can't wait to eat some yummy peaches. 

We usually go thru at least 4 boxes.

I still buy pears from Harry and David. But it is harder to find their stores.
