Love grilled dogs.  They don't go very well with my desire to cut down on cholesterol so the Nathan's I had in June is probably it for this year.

Hate seeing that in print -  some things are so much harder for me to give up than others -  dogs, full-egg omelettes, real cheese.  I was surprised that these were harder to control than ice cream and salty snacks.

Natural casings done over a campfire.  No condiments - only cheese and bacon (also done over a campfire).  I can eat 3 at one sitting.

I love hot dogs, but only Briggs that says 'all beef'.  I looked on Consumers and they liked some brand so I bought them (from behind the meat counter at Harris Teeter).

I bit into one and threw it away.  I gave them to a friend.  I think maybe my palet isn't up to some standards but what I like I like and that's it.  Ha!

I also like to put pork and beans on the bun with mustard and the bun very warm.

Love good, all beef skin on hot dogs, grilled, plain or Chicago style, or anything in between.

Re: Hot Dogs Questions.

[ Edited ]

I like them. My favorite way is with Dijon mustard and onions. We don't have them much, usually grilled for summer holidays. If we have leftovers, I will eat them wrapped in a bun and put in the microwave for one minute. Hot dogs always taste best at the ballpark!

DH could live on them. That's why we don't have them much any longer. When he was single for a short time, he would eat them right out of the package! He hasn't done that for a long time!  Related image

Our favorite brand is Ballpark all beef.

I usually eat one at a time, maybe 1-1/2 or 2 if I'm really hungry. But when we have them, there is usually a lot of sides to go along with the feast!

I've never tried hot dogs from here - I didn't know they offered them!

I love me an occassional hot dog and am so lucky to have a store by me that makes a variety of them fresh every day.  Today I purchased two that are called serdelki which are all pork and I can't wait to try.  It's nice when it's summer and you can grill a variety of sausages that may be new to you.  Smiley Happy
