Re: Here's another thread off my chipped beef question

a little OT, but i remember getting Christmas albums at the tire store, every year. Firestone or maybe Goodyear. Then we would play them for months.

Re: Here's another thread off my chipped beef question

Here, my aunt used to buy shrimp cocktail in a little glass that was perfect for children't orange juice in the morning.

I still have some of those jelly glasses from Welch's grape jelly mentioned by another poster.  We had them in the 1980's.

Ebay has them back to the 1970's.

@Carmie My (Late) Mom collected those Red Rose figurines too. I recall her having ones for every Month (December/Christmas tree, July/Uncle Sam etc) and she has a couple of animal collections; I think one set was zoo animals and another might have been cats and dogs? She loved those things. Thanks for making me smile.

We also got glasses with Sour Cream. I still have my Flyers glasses.

@candyagainFunny you should mention the cartoon jelly jars.  We had some way back when and when in the kitchen my Mom didn't want a wine glass out. But she wasn't against a little bit of the vintage now and again.  I usually had a glass of white wine after work SO when I poured My wine glass I'd ask her if she wanted a little "Tom and Jerry" as that's the cartoon jar we had.  Sure she did!  I kept that jelly glass Long after my dear Mom passed on.  It pulled at my heart the day it fell out off the shelf and broke.

It's the little things that break our heart. My favorite possession of my late Mom's is a little (chipped) creamer that looks like a kitten. It was always on the kitchen table when I was a little girl. I keep it on the sill of the window over my kitchen sink. Chipped or not I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Love the "Tom & Jerry" reference!! Sweet and funny memory. BTW, I remenber the Bugs Bunny glasses. My brother remembers the Flintstones. I bet there's a collector out ther looking for them all Woman Very Happy
