@Mominohio, that looks fabulous!  You must have had a great time today.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

It's barely 40 degrees, overcast and misty.

Summer is on the way, and I'm not going to want the oven on, so I'm filling the freezer for lunches for my husband, and for desserts for dinners etc.

Chocolate chip cookies, apple bread, Blue Jean Chef's biscuits, buttermilk coffee cake, a recipe from my grandma's arsenal, and next I'm on to peanut butter cookies.

@SXMGirl

I'm just an ok cook, but I enjoy and get better results baking. I love having baked goods in the freezer, and just have to pull them out as needed, especially in the summer. We have no air conditioning, and I go sometimes weeks and don't turn the oven on when summer gets to it's worst.

I kind of wonder if that will happen this year, as it is more like February in April. Maybe we'll get April in July!

@Mominohio, I am a good cook and like to experiment with recipes, but baking is my first love.  Right now, I am into baking breads.  We finally had a spring day today, but the rain has already set in and tomorrow will be more like February.  I think this might be the year that the a/c doesn't go on so much.  One of my art partners keeps talking about the new "ice" age, and it has definitely felt like that since November.

Ha! Come on in. They are still warm and gooey! I like them best like that!

No need to sneak through the window, I'll let you in, would love to have you! With the temps, I'll put on some spiced cider or hot chocolate to go with them!

Besides the goodies, your curtains are gorgeous!
