If you have a problem opening jars,

try using latex dishwashing gloves.

They give a non-slip grip that makes opening jars easier. 😉

Good idea.......I just bought from "A" the round rubber type circles.  Mine are threadbare.

Use the electric cover removal on glass bottle - but a no no on plastic.

For plastic stuck covers (sticky)  run HOT water on the jar rim upside down - bang cover around rim with metal thingy...........

One idea or another is usually successful.

I bought a handy little gadget on A......n that looks like a large plastic bottle opener.  It breaks the vaccuum seal on jars and then you can easily open the jar.  I believe that the gadget was around $6.00.  A handy stocking stuffer as a  Christmas gift for the cooks on your shopping list.

You could even use a wide elasstic band wrapped around the lid.  Another thing I use is a piece of that "sort of" rubbery shelf liner.  I have one in my "junk" drawer that is constantly used.  Another tip is to put the pionted end of a bottle/can opener under the edge of the lid and just lift it a bid.  This breaks the seal, making is easy to unscrew the jar.
