I'm a very visual person and love infographics of all kinds, LOL.

Here's one I just came across...

Gonna save it, print it, mount it, and share it.  Smiley Happy

Thanks, that is helpful.  I prefer tart over sweet.  Smiley Happy

I love Braeburns, but I've never thought of them as being that tart,.  They taste more like a cross between a pear & an apple to me.  Maybe, my taste buds are off!

I discovered the Jazz apple this year, and I have been eating the heck out of those, and I do not even really care for apples....Woman Very Happy

This couldn't have been posted at a better time!

I made an apple pie last weekend. Everyone loved it. Except for me.  I don't like tart apples and I used Granny Smith.

I'm also going to print this and frame it. I like this kind of thing in my kitchen. Someone posted a measurement "cheat sheet" a while back.  I printed that and hung it, too.  Thank you to whoever that was who posted that and thank you, OP.

Jazz is a trademarked brand of the "Scifresh" cultivar of domesticated apple.

"Scifresh" is a cross between Royal Gala and Braeburn.

Thanks groovy!

I think my tastebuds need to be recalibrated.  I eat an apple a few times a week.  I like Stamens, Braeburns, Honeycrisps, Fujis and Empires.

Stamens are my favorites.  I get them from the farmers market where I volunteer.  They taste like Martinelli's apple juice!
