Help with a French Press, please.

I finally got my 3 samples of Peet’s coffee and thanks to another poster, I bought a Muehller stainless steel French Press. I’m confused by how much coffee I put in. My French press is 20 oz. How much coffee do I need to put in? My sample packs have 2.5 oz/71 g.

Did you not receive any directions with your French press?  Seems like it would include that.

I use 2 ounces of ground coffee in my 20 ounce french press. I would just use the whole sample packet.

Ok 2 oz. Seems reasonable. It’s just that every site has different requirements.

I usually put 3 tablespoons of coffee if I am going to fill the french press all the way up with water.  Don't forget to let it seep for 6 minutes before pressing the pluger down...enjoy!

We use a French Press daily.  It is an 8-cup and I put 4 level scoops and it comes out perfect every time.
