hc, since you aren't a chocolate fan, what about making something with white chocolate?

Or, I was at a baby shower where Mocha Coffee Punch was served. It was very good.

Just wondering why you entered if you have nothing to cook.

It is just fun to solicit new recipes and discuss them with friends on the board! Why be so serious about it? No harm done!

And I'm just wondering why you and some others feel it's necessary to be so antagonistic. Good grief. I entered because the proceeds go to an organization that is near and dear to my heart.

chicken mole requires bitter chocolate. There are many gravy dishes that use chocolate. I make a prettymean less traditional mole.

You can make chili with chocolate. They use it a lot in Mexican cooking and spanish cooking. There are tamales with a chocolate gravy. It tastes savory not sweet

Paula Deen has a chocolate chili recipe. It just has 2 T. unsweetened cocoa powder in it, but it sounds really good. I've never actually made it, but now you've got my wheels turning...

Vamp, a friend ALWAYS adds a chocolate bar to her chili. It is amazing how it changes/intensifies the taste!

chocolate in chili and mole, and enchiladas is wonderful! It is strange you don't taste the chocolate it just add something, and smoothes the flavor. Takes it to another level. It also makes the color change to this deep red.
