having everyone bringing a Mason Jar salad. Not sure how to set it up. Also need to figure out what extra I would furnish.

Do they have desserts in a Mason Jar too?

Maybe make a nice grape, pecan chicken salad, and make sure you have extra dressing and plates around

You could do trifles in mason jars, or layers of fresh fruit with whipped cream on top. I think they would be colorful and pretty!

What I like to do instead of a fruit salad, I get a pretty, shallow round dish, and line the fruit up separately, in rows, it looks cute. I have used strawberries, bananas, blackberries, mandarin oranges, pineapple, kiwi. I do the ombré effect, from light to dark.

How about some little pimento cheese and chicken salad sandwiches to go with it? A beautiful fruit salad with dip is good. I have a recipe that has Grand Marnier in it, and it is really delicious.
