I guess the blades weren't screwed on correctly or something, and when I went to pulse, everything just spilled into the base! I wiped it out as best I could and went over it with a damp paper towel. I know you can't immerse it, but my drink had yogurt in it, so I'm afraid it's going to start stinking unless I can somehow get all the little crevices clean.

Did you turn it upside down to drain it out?

Yes, I did it fast, so hopefully nothing got into the inner workings to cause any permanent damage. There are so many little places debris could still hide, I want to take a tiny bit of dishsoap diluted in water in a paper towel that's wrung out really well to it, but I don't want to end up ruining my Ninja.

You can either try and call the company for assistance, or read the book that came with it if one did. Or give it 24 hours and try it again. I have no idea. But maybe you got to it in time. I'd call the company myself. Anything electrical, I'd be afraid to try until I was sure.
