Heads up for Kitchenaid lovers

I saw that new edge beater, yes, a kitchenaid at Walmart yesterday!

The flex edge beater works well - just be aware that each size bowl needs a different size beater. It doesn't work unless the flex edge reaches the sides of the bowl.

This may seem to be obvious but my Dad bought one for my Mom because he saw it on "sale" having no clue that it was not the right size for her mixer. LOL!

Re: Heads up for Kitchenaid lovers

I just bought the KitchenAid Tilt-Head Flex Edge Beater Model KFE5T. On the box, my model is NOT listed. ONLY TEN models are listed. UPS just brought it.

Mine is a 5QT Artisian I bought in 2004.

KitchenAid® Artisan® Series Refurbished 5 Qt. Tilt Head Stand Mixer

BEFORE I open the package on the edge beater, does anyone know if this will work?

Mine is a 5QT metal bowl.

I also just bought the 3 piece Pasta Roller kit..

Mfr# KPRA

Description: 3 pc. Pasta Roller Set Attachment for Stand Mixer

Will BOTH of these work?

Thanks

Not sure about the pasta roller attachment but if I were you I would just open the beater packaging carefully and put it on your mixer to see if it operates properly..

Perhaps you could email the QVC Kitchenaid lady?

The pasta attachment fits all mixers. Basically if it hooks onto the power hub in front, it fits them all.

Do you have her site URL?

She sure BRAGS about older KitchenAid and everything works together.
