It is a little early for me. Like to wait till around TG. I enjoy the season more,that way.

Some people on my post from Sunday ITKWD thread wondering if it would be just another Christmas show presenting cookies and fruitcakes and they all said they love the christmas shows, but, they hardly ever saw them.

Well, here's your chance I made my point another day of ornaments and decorations for the fireplace, table settings.

Just wanted to make sure they tuned in today

At some point last night or in the wee hours I couldn't go back to sleep so was flipping channels and heard that newer host Ali warning us that the holidays are only 13 weeks away. That may very well be nevertheless here in Connecticut it's still September and I prefer to think of it that way, not this trying to scare me with this 13 weeks away business. Bad enough they've been warning us since about May re having to transition our wardrobes to fall as if chilly weather was on our doorstep.

I have had a very stressful summer .. my husband fell and broke his

hip and had it replaced the end of May ...to make matters a bit more

difficult he had polio in that leg so it was compromised to begin

with ... It got better a month ago when he could dress himself and

could drive again ...

So that being said I am going to ease into the Holiday season

very slowly .....it may turn out to be just the tree ....a very short

3 ft in a pot ....a Christmas coffee mug ...a Christmas note pad

I have tucked away and thats it .. .I just can't handle any more ....

I am looking at it as self care .....
