Just ok to me too. Someone sent me an assortment at Christmas and there were lots of some flavors and very few of the ones I liked the most. I gave a lot away too.

I got some for Christmas - they're OK, not great. I'd take one pound of Godiva over six pounds of Harry London.

Godiva is who to buy from! Their chocolates are the BEST!

It's very telling when there isn't a single reply saying, "I LOVE these! Best ever!" (who isn't a shill, just a regular known poster).

Thanks for this thread. I've been thinking about them since I saw them. I may try a smaller selection just to see for myself. I looked them up the other day though to see if they had their own website and they don't. They've been bought out by Fannie Mae (the investment/broker company)

I guess chocolate is an individual thing. I've always thought Godiva was somewhat over-rated. It's good, but, to me, there are better brands out there and many of them for less money.

I think six pounds of chocolate candy is too much for anyone. But it may be a good business gift, the recipient can place the open box in the break room. FYI, Harry L. will be on tomorrow, Saturday 7/26, at 10 am ET. And four times next week, Tuesday, Wednesday (twice), and Thursday. I hope Sharon does the presenting. Love seeing her yummy face.

A few years ago I bought a small box of Harry London caramels from a local store. They were excellent.

BUT...last year I also (like another poster) bought a box of the assorted chocolates when I saw them on sale at Kohl's. The photos on the box didn't even begin to match the contents in the box. The ones I specifically wanted to try were missing! I found the selection to be waxy and rather tasteless; not high quality chocolate at all.

At least it cured me. I have no temptation at all to buy them ever again. I had my DH take the whole box into his workplace. It was either that or throw them out!

My folks like See's so I have no reason to buy 6 pounds of anything else.

I have tried this candy and every year I think it gets worse and worse. In my opinion, the grade of chocolate is not very good and I agree with some of the other ladies, it is waxy tasting and no flavor. Would never buy any again!!!!!
